Type Each of the following traits determines the range, and targets of a technique. All techniques require at least one [Type] trait, while some rare techniques may have several. If a technique has multiple types and/or subtypes - the user must choose only [1] type (or subtype) to use, each time the technique is activated.
Duration All techniques possess at least [1] of the following traits. Techniques that do not specify a duration are assumed to have a duration of [Instant], as this is the default duration for all techniques.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Plasma} The Technique or Ability conjures, creates, or manipulates plasma (a highly charged state of matter). Most techniques and abilities that fall under this category are more accurately defined by their sub-type. Plasma-based powers are all capable of inflicting significant Burns to an opponent on contact (whether that be thermal, electrical, or some other form). Only techniques that create/manipulate an exotic form of plasma have the [Plasma] trait. All other plasma-based techniques instead gain one of the following traits instead. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Fire} The Power or Ability creates/manipulates fire. Fire gives off low levels of [Light] and is a significant conductor of [Heat]. Depending on the power in question, fire-based powers may [Ignite] or may [Burn] the target with thermal radiation. While many forms of plasma can burn the target, fire-based powers almost universally inflict the most severe burns for their rank. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Electric} The power or ability creates/manipulates electricity. Electricity gives of short, but intense flashes of [Light], and (depending on the effect) may be accompanied by a [Sonic] boom. Electricity can cause electrical [Shock], [Numbness], [Paralysis], or may [Burn] the target with electrical radiation. It is rare for a power or ability to have the [Thermal] trait (and be capable of inflicting both states). Most thermal powers are instead have either the [Heat] or [Cold] trait instead, but rarely both. Both forms of thermal radiation can [Burn] a target at significant temperatures, with [Heat] also having the ability to [Dehydrate], [Weaken], and inflict [Hyperthermia], create [Illusion] based mirages, and other visual disturbances [Cold] on the other hand, can induce [Paralysis], painful [Numbness], inflict [Hypothermia], or even [Freeze] a target solid. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Solar} The power or ability to create/manipulate solar energy. Solar energy is the most powerful form of plasma a power or technique can manipulate. Powers that create or manipulate solar energy have the properties of both [Fire] and [Radiation] simultaneously, making them some of the most dangerous, and lethal powers that exist. Solar radiation generates intense [Light], [Heat], and [Radiation].
